Membership Enquiries
Q: What is the membership price for joining a Holmes Place Health Club?
A: Before talking about price we believe it is important to meet and discuss your needs and goals. By doing this you can be sure that you will buy the right kind of membership. At the same time you can view the facilities, meet the team and get a feel for the club. To arrange an appointment either contact the club directly (club details can be found by using the club locator on the left hand side of this page) or use the book a visit link on this site.
Q: Can members bring guests?
A: Members are welcome to bring guests to use the club for a small fee; however this fee may be slightly more if it is during peak hours. All guests are the responsibility of the accompanying member and are expected to follow club rules and guidelines, both for their own safety and for the enjoyment of other members.
Q: IIs it possible to use more than one Holmes Place Health Club?
A: Our clublink scheme allows members to use nearly all of our in Continental Europe. So whether you want to use our clubs near your work or home, the clublink scheme will mean you can visit when and where it suits your lifestyle. For more info, please see the "Clublink" section under the "JOIN US" menu.
Q: Is it possible to transfer my membership to another club?
A: Yes, this is possible, but we recommend that you speak with a representative from your club who will be able to explain whether there are any cost implications, as tariffs vary from club to club.
Q: If I am unable to use my health club for some reason, e.g. as a result of injury, is it possible to put a freeze on my membership payments?
A: Yes, it is possible to freeze membership payments for a minimum of one month in certain circumstances. Please talk to a member of staff at your club.
Q: Does Holmes Place provide corporate membership packages?
A: Yes, all our clubs provide reduced membership charges for a minimum of five people from one single organisation. Please contact the corporate sales manager at the Holmes Place Health Club that you are interested in (contact details can be found by clicking on the club locator button to the left) and they will respond to your query.
Q: Is there an age limit under which individuals cannot join a Holmes Place Health Club?
A: The majority of our clubs have a minimum age limit of 18 years of age. However, at the more family-orientated clubs our trained personnel offer quality supervised childcare, whilst members exercise in the gym. Children in these clubs can participate in the many events specifically arranged for their age group. Please pick up details of children's activities from your club.
Q: Do Holmes Place members benefit from any exclusive offers or promotions?
A: Yes, at Holmes Place we are always looking for partnerships with companies that can offer our members a great deal.
Q: Does Holmes Place organise social events?
A: All Holmes Place Health Clubs actively encourage social interaction between all members and staff. The majority of our clubs organise social events and parties throughout the year and all members are welcome. Some Holmes Place Health Clubs also organise outdoor adventure activities at the weekends, which have proven to be a great success.
