Easter isn't just about chocolate. Get active together with your children and our spring-like training tips.

The Easter holidays are here and your children are hosting an Easter chocolate egg contest? Well, now would probably be the perfect time to lure your children outside and get them excited about sports activities even during school holidays. The cold is slowly building up in the dust, the gloomy winter months are disappearing and the spring sun is making itself felt — so be generous and treat your children to an active, action-packed adventure!

Here are some of the best sports activity ideas for you and your kids that you can easily do during the Easter holidays:

Let the good times roll
Zorbing is a slightly different activity compared to traditional sports that you can do with children during the holidays. Crazy, exhilarating and completely wild — your children can conquer various paths and obstacles — all in a huge, inflatable ball. Watch how they always roll towards each other to see which of the children has the upper hand, or watch them roll forward together as a team. You might feel a bit dizzy afterwards, but no doubt you'll have a blast. If you live near a lake, you can also do zorbing on the water — this makes this unique activity even more special.

Game, set and win
Does your son or daughter want to become a celebrated tennis star? All you need to support this desire is a tennis racket and balls. In spring-like weather, tennis is the perfect sport to get your child excited about outdoor activities. During the Easter holidays, there are certainly special tennis courses for children of all ages, which are offered at various clubs. If you have time, accompany your kids to the tennis court and play a few sets against each other, so the little ones stay active even during the holidays.

Up to the top of the mountain
A workout for the whole family — climbing trains all main muscles of the body and is a very fun way to stay active even during the holidays. You don't have to set your goals too high either — there are many indoor climbing walls — there the children learn the right technique and gain basic climbing knowledge. As soon as your kids get the hang of the climbing gym, you can go outside and enjoy a real outdoor climbing adventure under the guidance of an expert. From climbing the climb to abseiling, climbing is a must for active kids. Experience is not necessary, but the will to learn something new should be there.

Out into open water
If your kids love adventures, kayaking during Easter holidays is just the thing for you. Whether on the lake near you or on the supervised section of a river, let your kids discover nature on a kayak. If your children are still very young, then you can conquer the waters together in a kayak, or if the little ones can swim without assistance, then they can start off in their own kayak. Not only will they learn how to paddle and turn and steer the kayak — they will also be constantly active due to their time on the water.

Plan activities for your children during the Easter holidays and offer them lots of exercise options and events to keep them busy.
