Break through what you previously thought was impossible—we have a plan to push, motivate, and build your stamina without making you feel burnt out.

We do so much for the people we love.

For many of us, we invest in our children's education while paying for our parents — and at the same time we should save money for our own retirement.

And not just financially.

Balancing our own lives and good health habits while taking care of our families can be very exhausting. But your health and fitness shouldn't take a back seat.

When we put so much of our energy into others, it's hard for us to find the time to build up our own fitness and health. Maybe we'll take half an hour off and go for a run, only to then overdo it and turn against ourselves:

“I can't do it!”

“As soon as I have some free time after X, I'll work on getting fitter.

“You're just not a fitness person — face it.”

“I'm too busy to work out.”

“It's impossible to build stamina with my schedule!”

“I'm blown away — I don't even know where to start.”

Do you recognize any of these limiting thoughts? We understand you At Holmes Place, there are no quick and easy solutions in our fitness philosophy, such as dieting and continuous endurance training.

To build up endurance sustainably and with joy, it must be a journey.

Here are three tips to build stamina, even if you're a total beginner, or if you're feeling low on energy, or don't have time, or don't know where to start. We're here for you.

1. Know when your energy is dwindling or flowing

We can't always work at our maximum potential. Listening to your body is critical to building endurance safely and successfully. Walk with nature — if you're low on energy, do light and lifting exercises, such as Pilates. If you're bursting with vitality and ready to take your resistance, strength, and endurance to the next level, then high-intensity classes like the Spartans will invigorate your mind.

2. Take small steps regularly

A woman who climbed to the top of the mountain wasn't just there. The same goes for building your stamina and achieving your goals. You need to make training a habit. Once you do that, it becomes a joyful part of your life and not a chore. Add small bursts of exercise to your schedule by doing power walking during your lunch break, taking the stairs instead of the lift, or doing quick workouts, such as our 15-minute Xpress classes, that are designed to build your stamina, even with a busy schedule.

3. Invest in a personal trainer

If you go too fast and too hard and don't see any change, you can quickly feel overwhelmed. Our trainers are experts — they know how to build endurance and what turns you off. You have a personal action plan that is well thought-out and strategically tailored so that you can make sustainable progress. Working with a personal trainer is by far the safest and fastest way to build stamina from the ground up by ensuring that form, technique, and consistency keep you moving forward.
