Dimples may look cute on children's cheeks, but they're more than unwanted on thighs and buttocks. Cellulite causes stress for many women and makes them afraid to wear the clothes they would like to wear. However, we can assure you that many people are affected by orange peel.
What is cellulite?
Nobody is fundamentally spared from cellulite, regardless of their body size. It is the result of unevenly displaced fat cells under the skin and leads to lumpy irregularities primarily in the area of the buttocks, thighs and, in many women, also on the abdomen (although this can also occur in men). When these fat cells arise between the connective tissue, they stick out from different areas of the dermis, the deeper layer of the skin, pull on it and reveal these unloved dents.
How can I get rid of cellulite?
Although no miracle cure for cellulite has been invented yet, there are ways and means to reduce it. The optimal body weight can help ensure that the dents are not too visible, so regular training makes cellulite look better. However, exercise cannot make them disappear completely, which is why there are other solutions to specifically combat the dreaded condition of the skin in problem areas, with massage. Massages break up fat deposits by alternately pinching and squeezing them together and rolling the fat off the connective tissue. This reduces the curved surface of the skin and makes it look softer and more beautiful again.

It doesn't matter which massage technique you use, the main focus is on the distribution of fat cells. Massage is also good for stimulating the tissue where cellulite is formed, and promotes blood flow and lymphatic functions.
The massage usually starts with your feet and then works your way up your body to stimulate blood circulation through the peripheral veins of the circulatory system.
1st kneading massage: This type of massage involves alternately squeezing and pulling up, as if you were kneading a dough. The fingers are used for sensitive areas such as upper arms, inner knees and calves and the hands in the area of the thighs, abdomen, hips and buttocks.
2nd wring massage: This technique involves a wring movement, like twisting a towel together to squeeze out the water. In this case, however, you reach for areas of skin. A brilliant method specifically for wobbly areas such as buttocks, hips and thighs.
3. Ankle massage: Fists can be a good tool against nodules and bumps due to cellulite. With an ankle insert, you can optimally combat stubborn fat deposits under the skin. These then disappear more quickly and are flushed out by the metabolic system.
4. Cellulite brush technique: Instead of using hands, this popular massage technique involves the use of special brushes that stimulate blood circulation in areas affected by cellulite. The hard bristles stimulate blood flow and free blocked vessels.
5. “S” massage: Place your thumbs at right angles to grab as much of the affected skin as possible. This technique uses a rotational movement in opposite directions to put pressure on fat deposits. This rotational movement in the opposite direction results in an S-shape, hence the term “S-massage”.
