No physical changes, no telltale pain... it's sometimes hard to tell if your workout is working. If you're working out regularly but don't see any changes, these signs will help you understand what's working and what's not.
Knowing the positive signs of a good workout can be a great help in developing your fitness.
If your routine isn't producing the results you want, you're not seeing any visible weight loss results, and you're continuing to feel the effects of exercise as pain and strain, then your body is probably trying to tell you something.
1. You don't feel any strains or pain
You'll be happy to know that you can get clearly visible results without feeling like a cop was sitting on you. It is not true that pain is evidence of successful training. Of course, listening to your body is important — especially if your health is prejudiced — but if you continue to be in pain or feel like you've pulled your muscles and tendons, that's a warning sign that there's something wrong with your workout. One reason may be overtraining. Intensive training without adequate recovery time can lead to muscle damage and loss of performance. It doesn't have to mean that your workout isn't right for you, but maybe it can be done with the advice of a personal trainer be optimized. Our trainers can tell where you're hurrying too much or have poor posture.
2. You haven't reached a plateau.
You started this new training several months ago and you are always setting new goals. Because it's just right for you. When you do several of the same workouts, you may feel as though you've reached a plateau. That's because the body, brain, and nervous system have adapted to the routine — that doesn't necessarily mean it's actually the case. Consider increasing the duration or intensity of your workout instead of switching to something completely new.
3. You're still full of energy
If you're one of those enviable ladies or gentlemen at the gym who still has energy even after the hardest workout — that's when your workout is working. Regular exercise usually increases energy levels rather than consumption.
4. You achieve your personal physical goals
If you're still achieving personal goals and are proud of your successes, then this training is for you. Go ahead, don't change anything! As the old saying goes, if it isn't broken, it doesn't need to be repaired.
5. You keep your metabolism at a good level
Everyone's metabolism is different. But one of the biggest benefits of all the work you put into your workout is that you can gobble up a pasta and pizza combo three times a week without gaining weight. If your weight-loss workout isn't producing the results you want, consider increasing your performance at a consistent, realistic pace. Don't rush things, as this could result in injuries and disappointment. Note that weight gain can also be an increase in muscle mass — a personal trainer may help you figure this out.
6. They are stuck in their routine
Always the same daily routine can cause us to lose motivation. There is no difference between housework and daily training: if it bores you, do it differently. If you're considering tidying up your underwear drawer instead of going to the gym, then your workout isn't working for you. Enjoy it, accept it, or change it.
