Do you think that you have already tried every workout and nothing surprises you anymore? In this 30-minute express class, you will not only jump for joy, but you will also improve your health and have fun together with your friends.

Water has 12 times the air resistance, which is why aqua fitness courses have become popular all over the world in recent years. The resistance you feel when you try to stand on a board makes your muscles work hard. So when you do a workout on the water, you're setting yourself up for serious toning potential.

With this high-intensity workout, which is gaining popularity every year, it's no surprise that people are venturing to stay fit. But what exactly can it do for your body and wellbeing? Dip your toes in the water and find out for yourself...

What is FloatFit?

A mix of classic circuit training exercises performed on an AquaBase floating air mattress (which cannot drift off) in the middle of a swimming pool, with lots of laughter and fun.

What are the benefits of FloatFit?

1. It is a full body workout:

FloatFit at Holmes Place trains parts of your body without you even realizing it. The need to stay on the board will teach you to focus on your posture and strengthen your core while focusing on burpees, planks, lunges, and squats.

2. Suitable for all ages:

Whether young, old, or somewhere in between, these FloatFit classes are for everyone. Nobody cares about age!

3. Improves proprioception (perception of body movements):

If you've ever tried surfing or even water boarding, you'll understand that sometimes you need to stay upright in balance to avoid getting completely wet. It is no different here. The way you stand on the board is an indication of whether you stay on the board or fall into the water. Your balance is the only thing that helps you stay on the mat, so focus on maneuvering, controlling, and adjusting your posture.

4. It's so much fun and will make you feel good:

This class is not only great for keeping fit, but also for producing endorphins caused by lots of laughter. You'll never join a FloatFit class without hearing the laughter of participants as they fall into the water — especially during your first session.

5. Less stress on your joints:

For people with knee or joint problems, FloatFit is easy and will be the best workout you'll ever do. Training on hard surfaces can lead to joint problems, chronic knee and hip injuries - this training is gentler and places far less stress on the joints. Your joints will thank you and you'll reach a level of fitness that other workouts can't get you to.

6. It's only half an hour:

For those who live busy lives, this FloatFit class won't take up too much time, but it will make the most of the time you have available. Don't underestimate what you can do in 30 minutes — lunges, planks, burpees and squats... all while trying not to fall into water. And if that doesn't work, then you'll just get wet.
